BioGil Grissom is a middle aged entomologist working for the Las Vegas Crime Lab. He is quiet and introspective, and quite mysterious to the people around him. However, what he lacks in social skills he makes up for in intelligence. He is very smart and well educated, having a PHD in entomology.
Not a romantic man by any stretch, he has had very few relationships. His work rules his life. However, we have recently discovered that he has had an undisclosed relationship with his attractive younger co-worker, Sara Sidle. It seems he has found the love of his life, but sometimes not all is as it seems...
